What is POFA?

The Hopkins Podcast on Foreign Affairs (POFA) is an entirely student run Podcast at Johns Hopkins University created by three first-year students in 2017. At POFA, we speak to professors, students, and foreign policy professionals about the most pressing issues in international relations and global political affairs. In our three years of podcasting, we have had guests from Hopkins’ Homewood campus, SAIS, think tanks including Brookings, CSIS, AEI and Heritage, and even a Vice President.

POFA is available on Spotify, iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, and for special episodes, Youtube!

This coming fall, POFA will have ten team members, with a goal of posting at least two podcast episodes a month. At Hopkins, POFA aims to engage with the student body to address the world’s most pressing conflicts and current events. At POFA, we believe that knowledge of the world is essential to a well rounded student and global citizen.

We hope you enjoy the Podcast, and as always, feel free to send us an email, tweet, Instagram direct message with your feedback and thoughts!
